I, for one, don't care to rush folks to become "gee just like us". Traditionally immigrants begin to contribute to the country in the second generation. That's how it works. Now today there are exceptions with, for example, some brainiac programmers or software techs recruited and contributing immediately.

Second gen - they contribute. One of all new jobs in the US are created by immigrants.

You gotta wait. Patience is a virtue.

YOU have an opinion on refugee - professionals who do it for a living don't agree. (Btw, what does "adjacent to their country" mean. We just going to take over a section of Egypt or Turkey and say SAFE ZONE?
