Senator's routinely meet with foreign dignitaries. What relevance does meeting with one as a Senator (again within the scope of a Senator's regular duties) have to do with becoming AG?

As it is, the occurrence of merely meeting with him even as a surrogate of the Trump campaign is not problematic or evidence of any wrongdoing.

Nonetheless, he answered the question accurately as it was posed to him.
