was not really responsive. He voluntarily offered the info about himself...unnecessarily.
I realize it's possible he was talking about his role with the campaign but he didn't even need to answer that way.
I have no idea where this will lead but with the climate in the fall about Russians trying to influence our election, why wouldn't he have been more astute about it?
Maybe he should have said in the confirmation hearing that he met with the Russian ambassador in his capacity as a Senator...but he didn't. and hear we are.
And of course the left wing is pouncing on this...this has been the climate in DC since Clinton was elected.
They're all just a bunch of partisan hacks.
