I think your outrage would be better suited using a different word. Nothing is being censored, no laws are being imposed to restrict their "reporting".
Freedom of the press does not mean a guarantee of access.
Certainly that access makes it easier, but lack of access is not censorship, no matter how many times you say it.
Do I think it was right? no. But I don't think a lot of the press really has much journalistic integrity to begin with so I don't see it as being that harmful either. Regardless of my personal view, it is NOT censorship.
