no law has been passed abridging the freedom of the press.
nobody is editing or cutting short what CNN says or has made any law to try to do so.
as a matter of fact, this might help CNN. b/c they either double down (likely) and solidify with their base viewers or they have some self reflection (unlikely) and they become better at separating news from opinion and become better at being fair and impartial.
