about the providing of education that mandates it be a function of government.
the involvement of govt has resulted in a near zero level of options in education - trades, functional education, personal finance skills, home management, specialized professional training, all of it is in a govt monopoly.
I repeat: There is no right to an education any more than there is a right to having fancy blue jeans or sneakers.
Govt decided to call it a "right" and hence created a monopoly.
When govt calls something a "right" it's a lie. It is a mandate, a law, not a right.
You want better "education", let people seek that education which serves THEIR needs, which will reflect those of employers and the community in which they live.
