I don't recall making such a comment at all. I am familiar with some aspects of the Koran.
And you see, I need to address a word with you. IF I stated - in this case, that the Virgin Birth was not in the Koran (they do pretty much copy the Bible in a lot of places, so that would be strange, BUT nevertheless, if I said that I was wrong. It was a mistake. It wasn't a lie. A lie is saying something one KNOWS is untrue.
This word LIE is mis-used often on this board.
Again you seem to have a problem, speak it. Are you a fan of the Ebionite interpretation of Jesus Christ or the theory that the Baptist was an outcast Essene and that Jesus served as his accolyte before launching his own ministry? That is gaining more and more acceptance in scholarship - the Baptist mentor role, that is.
