Maybe I just come from a different time when the country meant something, that being an American was a pretty cool fcking thing. The govt was often less than stellar and the economy would come and go - but people actually were in it together. We had a collective identity, the country. Maybe it is that many of THOSE had actually fought for it when they were college-aged.

So I don't get the cavalier attitude to allegations that officials of the fcking former Soviet Union conspired WITH a US candidate for president - and you don't care. Again, I am staggered by that.
