to ever determine who is to get blame or credit.
certainly how interest rates are handled and how much money is put into (or taken out) of the economy can likely be the biggest influencer.
At the end of the day, within politics, people will take whatever numbers they desire to make their point, because there will always be good numbers and always be bad numbers...which is why I choose to watch CNBC and not a poltical show to get my news on the economy....I think the best people to understand the macro economies are the business leaders within the S&P 500 as they are doing business there...and the best place to get that is through their conference calls on quarterly reports as they are generally strictly biz there, not political.
