Corporations are much more dictatorial than government. Sure, there are checks and balances in theory but your average board of directors for a Fortune 500 company is filled with people scratching another's back for a nice third or fourth seven figure income.
Trump has been inoculated from even having Boards of Directors in almost all of his business dealings. He's an LLC guy. He says do it and a team of people do it. No questions asked.
