The point is that Trump's very existence as a national figure is dependent upon the lack of morality his "suddenly vocal" opponents are so enamored with.
He reflects those people.
Asking to hold your POTUS to a higher standard is all well and good, but good luck getting a moral person into that candidate pool.
That same group crucifying Trump now would utterly destroy a moral person.
The Dems were going to elect HRC for the love of gawd.
How much more immoral and corrupt can you get?
