past 3 seasons, let's get that out of the way. What some of us are saying is that, sure, Kim could have cut some corners, done some things that weren't exactly right, and got to, oh, 16, 17 wins or so. But he didn't and the reason for that is it would have hurt the team, minimized their potential for real, meaningful success, once they'd finally hit their stride.
