And parents involved enough to know which schools are doing well and which are doing poorly, should get the chance to escape the cruddy schools and enroll in better ones.
The next time i hear a stupid lib talk about needing more money for government schools, i'll remember your example.
If you put $1mm of beautiful furniture in a crack house, it will still be a crack house, the furniture will be ruined or stolen and all you did was blow money. The inhabitants of the house have to want to change and have to be taught how to use and appreciate what they have been provided.
