(2) Would Gregg Marshall accept an offer of $6 mil/year (which is almost double what he currently makes).
(3) If Gregg Marshall would accept an offer of $6 mil/year, should we hire him for that amount?
NOTE: Here are Gregg Marshall's Kenpom rankings since taking over at Wichita State:
Year 1 : 155
Year 2 : 134
Year 3 : 64
Year 4 : 27
Year 5 : 11
Year 6 : 17
Year 7 : 6
Year 8 : 13
Year 9 : 13
Year 10: 21
And this is at Wichita State, without a single recruiting class ranked in the top 60.
The man is a wizard.
We need to make him turn down $6 mil/year... if he is able to.
If he says yes, it would be worth every penny. An investment that pays for itself.
