Why can't the Red cross transport them, feed, them, and provide shelter. Do you think that if we took all that money out of government, there might be more money for that to get done through private means? I can't believe, of all people, I am explaining this to.
I don't go as far as pickle..I am fine with the US gov't picking up the bill to get them to our borders, although I think much of the feeding and shelter (and even transportation) can be done through private entities anyways.
