up SC nominations until the dems regain control of the senate. I know Rask is positive the dems will crush it in the midterm elections in two years but with only 8 GOP seats and 23 dems up he is fooling himself. That means there is very little chance of a dem controlled senate for the next four years.
Only the most rabid would suggest that Scalia's seat remain open for over five years. That means Trump and the GOP will seat at least one and possibly as many as five SC justices.
That being the case the dems need to pick their fights or risk becoming totally irrelevant.
