At the beginning of the writer's strike some 20 odd years ago or so - Jons Stewart of the Daily Show personally wrote checks to the writers of his show that would be out of work as a result of the strike. He did that on his own. I know some of you don't care for Mr Stewart, but I thought that was a pretty righteous thing for him to do. No fanfare, no pub, just did it.
Please explain why this message is being reported.
