better to just not repeat it, so people don't get confused.
Agree nothing has been proven in a court of law, but that doesn't mean proof hasn't been obtained, which could be offered if a defendant wanted to go to trial.
It's not conjecture. It's an allegation. Someone is affirmatively calling it a rape. This usually is done by someone with some first hand knowledge of some fact or facts which they believe to be true and evidence of a crime.
