I (and a few others)asked a relatively simple question if you've ever been out of the US. You predictably have gotten extremely defensive about this and turned it into some kind of perceived competition, when that's not what the question intended at all.

I'm sad that it upsets you this much, honestly. As I told Mormad, I'm very lucky to have been able to travel as I have, and it's not like I look down on people who haven't been as fortunate as I have.

But being abroad (of course I'm referring more to being in Europe than Central America here) gives a person a different perspective on the world that can't be gained any other way, that's just the inherent nature of it. I'm very sorry that you're getting so upset and think this is some sort of competition; it isn't.
