quite stigmatized. I've no problem with someone showing concern, and perhaps an evaluation was appropriate in this situation, but Rubin really tried to have this guy committed, not just evaluated. That seems like overkill to me. Harvard could simply have required an evaluation of German in order for him to get his Ph.D.
