is limited to academia. It sounds like something from the Lifetime Movie Network.
I tend to side with the student on this one, based on the specific circumstances. This smacks of retaliation. The best thing for all sides in this situation is for Harvard to help this guy get whatever needs to finish his dissertation and get his Ph.D. and get him out of there as quickly and quietly as possible.
