That doesn't mean they're buying recruits through the parent.

If the family were seeking payment for their kids, they would've gone to the highest bidder, which is in no way UW.

It's a situation where Romar's best friend happened to be a coach who happened to have a couple top prospect sons about ready to play college ball. It made sense for him to bring him on his staff, and it made sense for the family to make that move.

That's different than saying "pay me $X, and I'll guarantee my sons play there while I'm the coach."
