unless it expedites the process of choosing a replacement. If a hire is going to be made in the offseason then who cares how many games we've lost? The writing is on the wall and everyone knows it. The Mizzou job is open so figure out who's interested.
If that happens before season's end then go ahead and fire him, otherwise there's no point.
