He was a lazy recruiter for us (except for OLB). His position coaches weren't great recruiters... but he runs the defense. They should have been accountable to him and they werent. Our epic fail recruiting class (2013) was immediately after our SECCG. He never developed any underclassmen (shutouts with starters still playing to the final whistle).
Lots of bad "management decisions". It felt like he was building this great resume' to run back to the NFL. But it all fell apart (under his management) before he got the gig. So he ditched us anyway (may have been asked to leave... but we were in a mess of a rebuild because of him).
That said... people can learn and change (although he seems like a job hopper)
