bans waterboarding.

As a senator, Sessions supported the legal analysis that authorized waterboarding and said that “it worked” in extracting information. In 2009, the Dem-led Congress changed the law to codify Obama's Executive Order that banned the practice. That law did not classify waterboarding as torture...it just banned its use.
