no demand for cost control.
Because of my crappy health care plan I had to pay $300 for a ten minute office visit where the doctor told me I had indeed thrown out my back and it would get better in a few days. That is what I get for listening to my wife who insisted I go see them instead of waiting it out. Because insurance usually pay most of this for people there has been no real cry to fix it. If everybody had to pay this every visit I am sure market forces would address it.
