Why people feel ashamed about things over which they have no control, and in which they had no participation, (you can take that to mean they don't give to the program or attend games, and only used to be a fan some years in the past but are not now, but have turned basher), it makes it very strange that they feel such shame when they are not part of the program, or a fan of it; well, it's a mystery.
