There are probably a total of zero teams in the country paying their top 3 assistants $2 mil in the aggregate. Payne at UK appears to be the highest paid assistant at $700K.

D1 assistants, even at big programs, are lucky to make $250K. It doesn't pay near what coordinators in NCAA football get.
