No more than most coaches, anyway.
He's only 61 years old. Calipari is 57. Several other SEC coaches are in their mid-50s are older, and Rick Barnes is 62. Now, age doesn't make someone "old school" necessarily, but I've seen nothing in three years to suggest Kim's personal approach to basketball is all that different from most coaches.
I don't think age/generational differences are a factor in what we're seeing at all.
