bowl games. I'd like to have more on at the same time during bowl week leading up to the biggest games on 1/1 as well. Cutting the number of bowls certainly won't accomplish that.

I don't hate the playoff system, in fact I think what we have now is marginally better than what we had in the BCS. (But not as good as the SwampTiger Plan.) The BCS made the top tier bowls worse. What I don't like is the drive to make college football more like the NFL/FCS/high school.
