punishments. I'm not sure in what world Kim inherited a tougher situation other than KA'ers minds.

And Crean got more than three years because of his recruiting and the fact that he had proven to be a capable D1 coach. He also signed a McDonald's All-American in his 3rd year. If Kim had signed Porter or showed any ability to recruit at an even average level his job would be safe for next year.
