The idea that a group of government planners can imitate market resource allocation is what Hayek calls “the fatal conceit.”

- this wasn't central planning and didn't represent nor has Trump ever mentioned a "national industrial plan"

the wall of thought after that core false premise is less engaging after realizing it's predicated on an intentionally extrapolated premise.



Lastly, the government is an actor/player with UTX - they buy from the parent company of Carrier. No great central fascist plan was conceived of nor executed the other day, pickle.

Trump/Pence opportunistically responded and leveraged buying power for political and hopefully, real gain for some folks.
