I don't think .500 sets us up that nicely for next season.

Obviously it's better than 10 wins but we are still probably 7 to 9 wins away from the tourney in that case and we won't be able to water down the schedule much more to get to that number. The SEC is improving so I don't think we will be able to count on just having our players get a year older to get us 7 more wins. I would be afraid that we would be looking at year 4 where Kim gets to 19 or 20 wins and we give him a 5th year because he us just so close.
Go look at Pat Chambers from Penn State. I'm afraid that would be Kim. We just keep giving him years because he is getting better and can sell the whole "one year away" excuse.
