There are some definite plans for improving existing social programs and implementing new ones, but no movement towards actual socialism. If you're an American taxpayer, you're already participating in socialism. Why not actually get something in return at some point? Better yet, why not make the programs we have actually do something useful and be efficient so we can cut taxes? There's too much waste, fraud and abuse in our current government programs. Everything needs an overhaul. Get rid of the overlaps and programs that only benefit a few people.
