If you CAN'T overcome it you probably aren't very good to begin with. If you CAN, then yes you are likely decent.
I'm not sure what you are arguing. No one is talking about this year's team. The jury is out. One game does not define a season unless it's a NCAA game. But that team was cra** and that game didn't define it. They were terrible.
