Metaphorically speaking, you're the guy trying to convince the world it should give up fire because life without fire is more fair and better than life with it.

I mean, holding a philosophical ideal is an admirable thing, perhaps noble, but if it is so utterly inapplicable to an end state, I personally believe it crosses over to something far less noble and far more pitiable.
