I was claiming his political ideology is irrational because of that. Christian faith is unabashedly irrational in that I would go to the grave for beliefs I admit I cannot prove to be true. This is why I don't believe I should be able to force my faith upon you or anyone else and I don't get worked up about when others disagree.

However, when you attempt to push irrational emotional political ideology on people, and in ways that damage their lives, it is a problem.
