As a little kid I was moved from an industrial/textile center in CT to Florida. I hit it off with a kid, name of Winston Davis (funny what we remember). Within a short time I over-heard another fourth grader refer to me as an N-lover. I was stunned. That phrase did not even exist in my New England heritage. Just a comment on how far apart we have grown to be today.

Is there any interest in bridging the divide on socio-economic and cultural issues? Is it even possible. Both "sides" are pretty sure that they are right - and as pointed out in the post below, THEIR media confirms it.

What do we do about that then? Serious question.
