I wonder how the genius conservatives here will respond.

They cheer everything Trump does that is out-of-step with precedent, but will they likewise cheer an Obama who when unleashed from the constraints of his office really start to rally up the troops as it were or will they call his action inappropriate for a former president, you know by precedent.
