We are already seeing the markets responding to the promise of a reduction in oppressive regulation, business friendly tax rates and an understanding that the tsunami of capital inflowing into the economy will spur growth. This will happen without doubt.
The dems, led by Obama, will then claim that their programs are finally kicking in. After 8 years of nothing but anemic growth (usually in the 1-2% range), they will have so little faith in the intelligence of the American people that they will claim it is all a result of their efforts and a delayed reaction. And many on the left will buy it.
