I preface my next statement with that so I don't get labeled a 'hater'.

But programs like Louisville don't let players out of a LOI unless there is a coaching change or they are fine with losing that player. Louisville took the scholarship penalties and had to be more judicious with their scholarships. They couldn't spend a scholarship on a player who may take 2 or 3 years to develop in to a contributor for a top 10 program like Louisville. Louisville's loss is our gain in this situation because he's good enough to start at a program of Mizzou's stature as a freshman.
