In all seriousness

Time to put snarky, poor winning aside. We are indeed Americans and all want this country to do well. There is a great opportunity before us on the more conservative end. In no particular order:

- respecting strong borders and stopping illegal entry is not hatred. It is why we lock our doors at night. There is not a mutually exclusive choice between border security and compassion.
- Business thrives when overly repressive shackles are removed and business owners can decide how to run their businesses.
- We don't want anyone to feel afraid in this country if they are responsible and abide by the law. However, accountability is a must for all.
- Government is best when is restrained to working within its constitutional bounds.
- Almost no one voted for Trump because they hate women, blacks, immigrants, gays, etc. And almost everyone who voted for Trump would rush to defend members of those groups if they were being threatened.

Now is a time to demonstrate all of this, and to achieve results and to change the thinking of so many who are now reacting out of emotion. I hope those who are celebrating what happened this week join in accepting this worthy challenge.
