disagrees with your views or has a problem with violent protest is simply a racist. Once you label a group with a term like that it is very easy to dismiss them.

I believe when this campaign is dissected we will find the turning point for HRC was when she labeled anyone who supported Trump as 'deplorables' that did not sit well with his voters and also did not sit well with many on the fence.

Identity politics has been the bread and butter of progressives for many years now. This election was the push back from those policies. Progressives can continue to align with the fringe and it is going to continue to lose them middle America.

The GOP pretty much swept the national and state races on Tuesday. There is a reason for this and no it is not because over half of Americans are racist, sexist or any other type of -ist.

There was a lot of talk on this board in the weeks leading up to the election whether the GOP was dead. I think that was resoundingly answered by the people.
