but I'll say, still deep within the fog of war of this election, that he's tainted. However, it's not from his dealings with Trump, but because he seems like a "speak big during the campaign and do nothing in Washington" type of politician.

This isn't isolated to this cycle, there's been a pushback developing in the GOP for 6-7 years.
