in the world. It spends over $10B a day. It has an unlimited stream of revenue regardless of what actually happens in the country because it has first claim on every wage earned.
It has injected itself into more individual economic transactions than can be counted. And it seeks greater control over more and more activity every day.
You think that controlling those levers of power is going to be hindered by some tangent of "pay for play"?
The question you should be asking is why it is so omnipotent in American society and is its mere size a guarantee that it must be corrupted by people who desire control of the incredible financial, political and societal power it possesses?
