He did more for this program in the last 15 years than in the previous 22 or so. He not only made us relevant, he brought us back to national prominence albeit for only a couple of years here and there. I will not speak ill of him, he is why so many of us care so much about MU football once again.
I'm no fan of the way it ended. I think it's very sad and really crappy the way his last year went down. He AND We deserved better. But that's how it ended. It does not, however, nullify what came before. Time to move on and let him live out whatever measure of time he has left.
