ethics and character.

I am not willing to overlook unethical or criminal behavior simple because someone claims to share my values. If they are acting unethical or committing crimes they have already proven to me that they do not share my values and I do not wish to have them represent me.

I know this is not true of every conservative but in general conservatives value law and order, ethics and character.
