I apologize, I didn't fully spell it out for you.
KU is the only local school that has had success in any of the major sports, specifically for us basketball, that has done anything of note.
MU and KSU have never been successful, consistently, and to the point of winning a championship in either major sport. If they had, or if they had any sort of history, again in either sport, perhaps the local news/papers would pay more attention. But since neither KSU or MU have won anything in either major sport, and since neither have the history that KU basketball has, and since neither are consistently among the elite, there is no real reason for either school to have their own section of the KCStar.
