And, he also said to pay taxes. So, Christ, who perpetually defended the poor and needy, who also said to give unto the govt what is theirs (even if they're as corrupt as **** as the Romans were) would not then turn around and endorse the govt restricting help to the poor, right?
Christ had a problem with the immense social stratification of Roman society in the first place. Where did he ever state the wealthy should be able to hold on to their extreme wealth?
