It seems we could possibly have landed. He was willing to stay close to home and turn down the likes of kU to commit to a program that plays in a second-tier conference, with significantly worse tradition than we have, and that has arguably been even worse somehow than we have been the last two years. He was ripe for the taking. Corey Tate apparently saw his best chance for career advancement was basically to go anywhere but here, where he was able to land nobody.
